  • 2 people even enjoy it watching upside-down

  • Wow, Kim must've been using layers upon layers of speed glue, that ball was moving in a line 20 feet.

  • That backhand smash (penhold!) at 0:27 was amazing.

  • Gaaaaaaaah, he smashed it from like 25 feet back where others would just lift it.

  • Waw probably the nicest rally I've ever seen

  • Kim style looks like Applegren but penholders grip. Nowadays Applegren is beautifull to see, but absolete when encountering fast players line Ma-lin and other top players

  • I look good on that screen don't I?

  • no you look horrible.bad tequneice

  • Johnny Huang, the last of dying breed of shakehand pips out hitter, is really awesome here.

  • mit abstand der eleganteste und schönste ballwechsel den ich je gesehn hab

  • friggin sweet

  • he was coaching ryu seung min, not himself, lol

  • E tova si e ebalo maikata.

    crazy :)

  • kim taek soo?coaching kreanga? i highly doubt that... he was coaching Kim Taek Soo, which is logic (similar style, same country)

  • How do you mean?

  • Favorite that shit is right.

  • OMGGGGG O_O'

    Is crazy point

  • espectacular

  • this is easily one of the best, if not the best rallys on youtube. Look how he smashes it so well from so far out!!

  • amazing

  • favourite that shit

  • oh my god!

  • his bat 10.3?? mm thick? with speed glue and fast rubber = speed + power, but hes gt gud control kim taek soooooo!

  • I have loved kim.

    He retire Korean tennis coach.

I want to see his play.

He's power of forehand is the most powerful of in the world.

  • holy shit.

  • Ha, and people say penholders' backhands are weak. ;)

  • i agree!!! penholders backhand is good! (well most penholders)

  • I like his style a lot more than Ryu's... better player imo suprsing he lost to ryu maybe ryus half his age:/

  • crazy loops.. the length.. unbelievable!

  • cool cool...

  • Wow, what a POINT....and the camera angle. Incredible.

  • Love this point no matter how many times I watch. Always rooting for Johnny, though.

  • Whoa!!! Let me sumamrize this... Kim Taek Soo playing penhold, backed up from the table, smashing from the barrier against short-pips?!?!?!? Definitely World Class.

  • The one and only Kim Taek Soo. One of the most entertaining players ever. Too bad he retired.

  • wow... just wow!

  • magnifik every day i watch this point kim taek soo is a genius. it's a GOD!

  • Good lobbing positions the ball near the end of the opponents table, thus making a good drop shot practically impossible.

  • the spin of the pingpong ball has a lot to with playing a good drop shot. the defensive player ussually puts spin on it. most of the time the ball bounces too high when u play a drop shot which makes u vulnerable to a smash

  • put keep are you!

  • ok, i play tennis, (and table tennis) and i dont see why the person who is like "in control" doesnt drop shot the ball? why do they hit it so hard ...? to test the other skills? or what explain ? ty

  • It's hard to drop a ball with so much spin... Try doing a drop off a mate with a killer spin serve, it will probably fuck you up...

  • of course you can't do that off a good serve...that's why you put spin on a serve. you don't play much do you?

  • Yes..thats the Gilbert Cup '98... 38 mm ball...kim taek soo vs Johnny Huang..nice point by the way..

  • Might be. Good observation. Not sure, but could certainly be. Looks like it.

  • is this back with the 38 mm ball?? the ball seems so fast

  • kim taek soo is simply the best!
