'Then Peter Parker went to a Ring Announcer for help, but said he could no do anything due to retirement. Second he went to an usher who then kicked him out for "Violating the rules for talking gibberish during stage hours". Then the Frenchmen in the restaurant who gave him a 10% discount for the servings and did no use. After giving up hope, an Oldsmobile drove by and thou was saved from anarchy.
I remember this scene from theatres, when i was in 6th grade. That asian chick with nails scraping scared the hell out of me. Spiderman 2 is the best of the trilogy.
LOVE this scene, gave me Evil Dead vibes the first time is saw it, Sam Raimi is such a great director. Anyone else notice that horror movie director make great movie director, another example Peter Jackson.
pause at 1:43 you can see on the ground a dead docs body this scene is awesome does anyone no where the asian girl was dragged or what happened to the girl at 1:36?
That's the coolest part of the whole scene! At about 1:11 it shows it grabs a firm hold of the Asian girl's ankles and starts dragging her off, while she is screaming "Help me!! Heeeelp meeeee!" the expression on her really round face -- WOW! Then.... at 1:19 it cuts back to show this Asian nurse still being dragged away face down, and she's clawing at the floor so much it leaves scratch marks in the floor! As to what happens to her..............................
@bloodyjigsaw88 My guess, is they made mold that looked like the sparkly tiles on the floor. I'm guessing it's solid enough to look real whilst caring someone's body weight on it. I think however when you claw at it with a sharp object, (The nurse's finger nails) the material start's to come out. Almost like when you freeze Ice then you can carve out of it, only this material look's alot easier to cut out. If you look closely it look's like huge chunks of the material is coming off.
I love this Movie, But to be honest I find this scene way to horrible to be in the Movie. I normally rarely ever feel for people in Movies, because ... well let's face it, it's just a Movie it isn't real. However for me this scene if just really disturbing and I feel really sorry for the Lady Doctors even more so because they look so frightened. I can't imagine what the Kid's would have been thinking when watching this scene. I know when I first watched it I was Gobsmacked!
It's weird. I like Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, anyway), and I like Spiderman, but I just didn't enjoy his take on the Spiderman mythos. Definitely got the Evil Dead vibe from this scene, though.
Damn! For what is basically a kid's movie, that's pretty terrifying imagery! Sam Raimi sure knows how to hit you in the gut when he wants to. He's a great director. Check out his Evil Dead horror films if you want to see where he developed his crazy camerawork and intense horror sequences.
1:20 the floor was made in China,of course.that explained why the girl is chinese
