u know what? U FAIL, the 4.1 was not suppose to change the death grip, an software is not something physical.. it was only going to change so the bar's shows the right signal strength, before the bars sows the wrong strength.. so: YOU JUST FAILED POSTING THIS VIDEO..

@chaz4510 The antenna issue is not supposed to be fixed in this software update. Apple is holding a pres conference to announce if they will recall;, give away bumpers, or maybe gift cards.

yeah the signal drops but not fully! we can see some improvements on signal strength... but i dont think thats a software problem...apple really have to admit that is hardware problem

I heard it actually the sim card tray. If u press on the sim card would actually drop the signal not touching the two attends together. See by just touching the aim card would drop the signal, because they are claiming that the metal sim card holder press "into" the device would cause the death grip. Idk if this is true but a lot r saying it is, and that a plastic sim card tray would solve this issue.

@1Enfini5 Actually... no. The real reason is the coating on the iPhone 4. Apple just recently called a press conference about the iPhone 4 and most likely they will talk about how they may recall the iPhone 4's already sold for some sort of faulty coating that reduces reception when you use the "Death Grip". This is because you press the coating against the phone and the antenna and this is why Apple says to hold the edges. And there are already rumors that Apple is reproducing new iPhone 4s

right, soo.... Apple have apperently fixed the formula for displaying the bars......now theyve got no more excuses and will hopefully be forced to admit its a hardware problem and just do a damn recall so we can all get on with making calls and not dropping them!
