Yeah, I agree with you on these rooms completely. The spike room is doable with the right timing, but the precision required at every single obstacle is just dumb, probably the most Kaizo-like room in the game. The only reason I progress at all in that room is because I don't feel like giving up... The Metal Slug room is indeed awesome and by far the easiest. The fire ring I had a lot of trouble with, too, but overall it's legit difficulty and pretty fun.

No idea why they randomized the rooms..
