  • @druimnaguie

I know, but unfortunately I've never been to Raasay: when I go, I promise I'll made another video with photos of the real place. For now, I hope you enjoy these ones anyway :)

  • I found the music bin a fiddle book and tried to learn it on the fiddle having never heard this tune. I then searched and found your youtube and i love this tune. I hope to do it justice someday. Thanks for posting. Larry

  • @locustvalleystring

I'm sure you will play it greatly! :)))

Thanks to you for watching my video and for the comment!

  • Thanks, leoddagan - I was able to google "concertina" and figure out what it was. I'd seen that kind of instrument, of course, but didn't know the name.

  • Does anyone know instrumentation at the opening? Is it an accordian-like instrument playing the melody or some kind of pipe?

Thanks for posting this - very enjoyable.

  • @Maidrya

I'm sorry, but I'm not able to answer to your questions...

Anyway, I thank YOU very much for watching, enjoying and commenting on my video, and I hope some other person who read your comment can reply to your curiosity! :-)

  • @Maidrya

This is a concertina (D key). Then a fiddle comes in at unison, but there is also a kind of synthesizer or arranger. Try this link to check out if it fits your first impression

  • @Maidrya

sorry missing link but I can't paste it, just go on hikoraroa's channel and see his own Calum's Road!

    regards
