The CFH is very adjustable. It had a 5 mode selector switch, three mini pots and a boost switch on the side. I have one and it's ok but I'm more of a classic/blues rock player. My brother, who was a metal player, gave it to me when he stopped gigging. I'm looking to replace it

I didn't think the Crubaby From Hell was adjustable but I just wanted to hear them side by side because I was looking for a new Wah at the time and those seemed like the best options for the money.... I went with the 535q because I found it on eBay for $50..., I never got to try the CFH though...

@TheShane2992 well the 535Q is adjustable in tone... i don't know if the Crybaby from Hell is or not. if it isn't (i doubt it is) adjustable, it wouldn't be too fair to put an adjustable wah next to a non-adjustable one.

@MrMetallicFreak get the 535Q if you want a well rounded wah pedal that can basically do anything. I got the Crybaby Classic demoed here and for some Metallica it's pretty neat because of the high sweep in the top frequencys. But I'm more the Blues/Rock kinda guy so don't take my word for granted.

The classic wins this one no contest. Personally my favorite of the crybaby's is the Zakk Wylde signature. In my opinion it sounds the best for high gain but the crybaby from hell is up there too.

The Classic was fuller sounding and it has true bypass which makes it the automatic winner. Wahs are known for tone sucking very badly when turned off and and I think it needs true bypass more than any pedal on the board to save your tone.

I say the Classic is better overall- great low and mid range- more Hendrix. The standard is more higher range to my hearing- great for funk and some disco.

slipknot: The Dunlop does not rotate the pot fully with the strap. What you need to do is open up the pedal, disconnect the strap and rotate the pot towards the front. Do not do it all the way, you still need some room to turn the pedal off and on. This solved the problem for me. GMD, how about showing how the works if you got the time?
