It's a hundreds chart basically. It can help some kids learn to count but it doesn't teach place value like the Chinese abacus.

@123Proudmama How does it not teach place value? Each row has a place value. If you start at the bottom that's the ones' place, the next row up the tens' and so on. The Abacus in this particular video will add up to the billions' place. Did you mean decimals...?
