Ramir233, there is a difference between mass and weight. In space you have no weight, but you still have mass. If you get thrown against a wall it would still hurt as much as it would on Earth.

It looks terribly cruel to me too- not because the cat is hurt in any way, but because he's obviously panicked. I can't IMAGINE that they wanted him to "stick his claws into the padding" because only a total idiot would fling a non-declawed cat around a room with a bunch of people. Why not toss a running chainsaw at them? Whoever said that obviously doesn't know anything about cats.

At any rate, the way they bullied him about was shameful. They could have simply been a bit more GENTLE.
