I want to create a Resource Based Economy tomoorow, we can when we wake up and decide we've had enough. Don't let a few rich families destroy our planet, it's time we woke up and changed direction. Money is outmoded and obsolete we no longer need it, all it does is keep the power that be in power. Learn about the Venus Project and the Zeitgeist Movement. Together we can have a long and prosperious future, without Social Elitism and Money. Educate yourself, don't just dismiss these ideas.
Well you're application of psychology to instill fear works, though it's kinda expected that you people would use that. We aren't a dying civilization, we're a transforming civilization. Which is clear to anyone who looks at the matter closely. Yeah we only have enough gasoline in the world to last us for another 50-100 years, but by that time we won't even need it anymore.
We're moving forward as we always have been. Though we do need to do it in a more enviromentally friendly manner.
i think facts of this Reality stimulate fear as it did to lalatino but there isnt a doubt in the mind i use that mother earth is suffering from our needs desires and ignorance so juan keep speaking the moment as it is and thank you for just being
FEAR! LETS MAKE POPULATION LIVE IN FEAR.. UNIVERSITY IN FEAR ARTS :))))
WE ARE NOT DYING AS CIVILIZATION!
please STOP IT if you dare about human health, mind health and effect in health in general..
please do study about CO2, how is produced, why is so much need by plants and rest of creatures, temperatures and weather cycles in last 11.000 years, etc etc..
THERE IS NOT ENVOIROMENTAL CRISIS MADE BY HUMAN, WE ARE TO SMALL, TRAVEL A LITTLE... AND STOP IT MAN!
i'm a msee too & stanford phd drop out. i think the obvious solution to energy crisis is nuclear & not renewables or coal. i'm not concerned about global warming. i'm optimistic about research advances in thorium & hydrogen fusion. this will meet the energy needs of 7+ billion people however we will have to wait till oil reserves run out. only then innovation in these areas will occur. remember - necessity is the mother of invention.
How long will our drinking water last with 7, 10, 15 billion people on earth? How long will our soil remain fertile to grow food with 7, 10, 15 billion people on earth?
Hahaha. I think you forgot the part about how we're also going to need global population control laws put in place.
@GalaxyStar4 in my opinion, population is not the main problem. problem is in corrupt political, cultural & social structures. technically speaking we do have the technology in place to purify drinking water & make our soil fertile both organically & chemically. Unfortunately, establishing & enforcing global population control laws will be very difficult I guess.
