Hi, I'm from Sweden and I've actually never heard or seen Camel snus, and I'm a "snuser" aswell! It's maybe because I'm only 16 and doesn't buy by myself but my question: Did you get the Camel snus from a Swedish website (you probably know what I mean (From Sweden) ). I personally appreciate Grov portion, rapé and General. I hope you answer my question below (or someone who sees the comment)

@ghjimk Actually, the Camel "snus" I've reviewed so far has been the American version. It got me interested in the "real" Swedish snus, but since you're from Sweden and can get the real thing, I wouldn't waste too much time trying to get American Camel "Snus." It's more suited to American dippers (smokeless tobacco users) or smokers that haven't tried any Swedish snus.Stay tuned for more new reviews coming soon!

I'm having a General snus in my lip right now, but I must say, I don't really like General. Snus is a perfectly normal tobacco product here in Norway. Do you have Skruf in the US? You should try it, it holds in place much better then most, but it doesn't taste that good.

@KapteinFruit No Skruf just yet. General is the only available Swedish snus at this time. It's being test marketed for now. It has had a slow start, but seems to be doing pretty good. I hope it keeps going. Of course, my countrymen are hard core "dippers". But snus is the way to go and I try to get the word out. I love Swedish snus and I am American. PEACE.

Everyone in northern Sweden Does Snus. And Scientific Studies show is doesn't have any direct link to Cancer Unlike American Versions. And NO is doesn't have "Glass Shards" in it. thats just a dumb myth.

I am swedish and I have used snus since around I was 15 now am 50. And if you use portion snus the bag tend to be almost flat, I used to press them slightly on the high side so they become more oval much like a football, and maybe it's my fantasy I get the notion that they release more flavor when I do so, and it feels more satesfying when it's not all flat. I have tryed all sorts of snus through the years, and now I use exclusively a snus called Tre Ankare white portion, and they are tasty

@RiffCactuss I'm a snus-using swede myself. I'm sure this differs but most people I know - including myself - just throws the snus away when it starts "leaking" and puts a new one in. You should be able to have it under your lip for at least 15 minutes or so before it starts leaking.

I snus (or as we say in sweden, ''jag snusar'') General Orginal Portion, best snus there is! The next best snus I'd say is Grov Snus, the Original as well. I tried both Grov White and General White but the Original's are much more tastier.

Keep in minds that Swedish snus is regulated by the Swedish the Swedish version of the FDA. Meaning that Swedish snus (not the American snus) has a TSNA level  of anywhere between 2.8 and 0.7 compared to American chewing tobacco where the TSNA levels are between 150 and 41.

TSNA, if you don't know, are the naturally occurring cancer causing agents in tobacco. Meaning, Swedish snus is MUCH safer than dip for your health. The Swedish government even removed their "cancer" warnings from snus.

Well it doesn't really burn for me, but that's probably since I'm used to dipping Grizzly. However, you can really feel the nicotine hit (at least I can with the General Onyx and Grov Black portions I've had), pretty cool really.

I just sat down, took a portion of Grov Snus and started listening to Focus. Then I stumbled over this video... Creepy, man.

Regarding the video:

Since I've been using snus since I was about 11 (as a part of swedish tradition), and I must recommend either Grov snus in portion or loose, depending on taste. It's kind of rough and strong, but it is without a doubt the best. I can say this since I've been going through nearly every brand and flavour.

Crazy how the world works sometimes. *laughs* I've only got "Hocus Pocus" as far as Focus songs are concerned, but what a sound! As I've said before, I'm definitely willing to try more brands and flavors of snus. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to try some Grov snus sometime. Hey, Im from sweden :) as i appear young i do have experience from snus ;P I dont use snus everyday but from time to time i take a snus :) Try General BAK. It comes in a loose form and u will have to bake it. If you answer i can give you a link that shows how to use it ;)

Swedish snus is an aquired taste kinf of like scotch. You might not like it when you first try it. For the first couple of weeks it might taste salty. After that you won't taste the salt and the subtle flavors will come through.

Swedish snus has more nicotine then Camel so you won't have to be using more then one pouch at a time.

I've been snusing for 5 months, I smoked for 38 years. Snus made it possible to quit. Try some Nick and Johnny when you get a chance. :)

I personally don't dislike the taste of "real" Swedish snus. Sure, the flavor's different, but not in a bad way. It definitely grows on you. I hope to get some different brands of Swedish snus in the future. And yes, Nick and Johnny is on my list! Glad you like the video, thanks for the comment!
