You obviously don't know for Gene Hoglan, George Kollias, Pete Sandoval, Thomas Haake, which are metal drummers and drum saints like Buddy Rich, Dave Weckl, Vinnie Colaiuta, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Gadd, Steve Smith, Denis Chambers, and some young talented guys like Benny Grab, who is one of the most creative drummers today!

Ray is good, but he is far from the best of anytime!

try to use a drumhead like a ambassador clean in the beater...the mic placing its not a mistery: just put a d112 ou BETA52 into the drumhead hole, pointing straight ahead....NOW THE SECRET:don't put anything inside the kick drum...take off pillows, mufles, blankets.etc..sounds weird when you play, but in tracking...sounds awesome!!!

the drums he is using here are keller maple with a wrap finish. Keller are supposed to be the best shells in the world. However i prefer the custom company's that manufacture everything in house for some reason. Still love OC tho.
