The Character Model is a Joke ! Rather than a decent guy like Yuri, we got a spoiled brat who looks like Jesse Mcyntyre. Instead getting a cute possible-love interest, we got a cold-sister like her. And we still got weird ninja, Gay Cat-Fu, Stupid Gurdian. But Hey, They have their own amazing story! And their stories getting deeper if you progressed. Don't forget, there are Britney Spears somewhere in the game !

@Snofey1 You need to max out all Shania's fusion so you need to have ALL the statues also. Then you must visit the Gate at least once and then go to Moana Village and talk to that wrinkled prune Okanagan and go to the new place that's now available it's in there

@881817 after leveling all of shanias statues to level 5 go back to moanna (i think) village and talk to the village elder and she'll tell shania to revisit her home in garvoy valley back on the map it'll open up and then you can fight tirawa and as a bonus johnny gets to help shania this time!

I'd consider this more of a spin-off than a true sequel of the first two games.

Even Koudelka was more closely related to SH 1 and 2. But FtNW is a great game in it's own right, just with a different tone than the first game. I'm glad the stories didn't overlap too much, they're still in the same Universe, but both stories stand alone very well.

Joachime is in it as well...just barely as a secret side quest character. But his little sister is one of the main characters of the 3rd game. But if you ask me if it was worth it? No >.> I wished I had just played 1 and 2...when the game went to another company, they ruined it imo. Sure, the fusions were cool, but the story and characters were...meh. It was dry to me.

I play the game now (I have to go to Aito Cave), but I totally agree. In SH2, we had to save the world three times, our first major villain was Rasputin himself, but in this game some crazy Lady, and by 25 hrs in the game, nothing happened. Less darkness, less morbid humour, but to tell the truth, I like Frank, is is some funny sonofabitch:D

I prefer Hilda's Kcalmeter to Joachim's Charts, Shania's fusions have more potential than the ones from Covenant (4 statues to evolve here), the magic system is more complex to use and harder to complete but a lot more versatile and Frank's voice is hilarious xD The only thing I don't like much is Natan and his sidequests, blanca's were much better...but Johnny's snapshots kinda make it up.Also, YOU CAN BUY THIRD KEYS IN THIS GAME!!!!

This game was terrible and embarrassing. Now, i loved the first shadow hearts, it knew what it was trying to be and didn't try to hide it(aka very Japanese oriented) Second one, was still great and improved on gameplay & storyline even if the ending shat all over itself. Third one, wtf happened? no yuri, no alice, no karin. characters are goofy and obnoxious in a very unrelatible/uninteresting way. everything looks like it's been retarded up, menus, magic system, and 4 fusions? Lame.

It's a special sidequest, which you can only access once you visit the GATE at least once. You can then go to Shania's old village, and there will be a path you can follow which takes you to the new summit.

I've played and beaten all three. I really am disapointed in the lack of choice of the fusion monsters, but I like the fact that they brought back the old -fight it and beat it to get it system from the original game.

Wish they had at some of the original storyline, too. The only part was a brief mention of what happened in Covenant, and 2 of the main characters make a cameo appearance for a really goofy side-quest.

yea there were much more fusions in covenant but remember covenants fusions are not as detailed as shania's the really detailed fusions on covenant are dark seraphim and amon really were as shania's are detailed from head to foot. But if you ask me just four fusions was fine easier to manage and Johnny's release ability kinda makes up for dark seraphim because they look sorta the same and they're both just as strong

to obtain tirawa you need to have all of shanias other fusions powered up (all statues lv 5). then go talk to the old lady in moamba village (don't remember if that's really how the village was called....) anyway, she'll tell shania to revisit her hometown and then you'll get a new location on the world map...at the end of that place you'll get teh awesome tirawa

Actually, in the first game, one of Yuri's fusions DID have boobs. Wind Fusion lvl 3. And in the second game, Kurando's first fusion was a moon GODDESS. Talk about gender benders. XD

Actually, tirawa, the last one in the video, is Shanias most powerful and also her secret Fusion. My favorite is La Sirene, the water spirit.

The game is no SH1 and it certainly is no Covenant. But as far as I'm concerned, I'll take what I get.
