Thus surely a larger population would have been spread over a broader area, including border areas with neighboring republics. This would be simple historical demographics rather than some conspiracy as you suggest. Indeed, as Serbia was the largest Republic, Tito's idea was strong Yugoslavia meant a checked Serbia and so deliberately and artificially split the Serbian Repulic into three parts.

personally i don't care about any slavs. croatians and ukrainians are my favorite slavic people. but besides them, i don't much care of any others. chechens as well. no slavs belong in the balkans. it's not their place. they came in and the result is most of the people have slavic dna now. only albanains and romanians held their european blood. the rest all mixed heavily with slavs which is proved by their language similarities and blood pool. slavs are cancers.
