The problem with FRW is the lack of table crashes, and ladder matches. Sure, the core gameplay is exciting, but there's no "Sizzle". Throwing someone into barbed wire is fun for a second or two, but the modern wrestling games, as poor as they are, foster more creativity in spotfest wrestling like ECW by allowing the user to think up elaborate spots.

i been making the ecw wrestlers,rings,referes and even a logo i spennt almost 3 full days making them but in the end it was all worth it

i love this game.. only problem is the lack of a victory road type of mode where you beat a bunch of guys from a promo and unlock extra content.. instead, everything is unlocked from the beginning, and you have to go and edit everything yourself..

Then spend most of your time in exibition or create tournaments and stuff.. which im not really good at..still is the best engine of all FP wrestling games...

King of Colosseum 2 is pretty awesome too..

@armandmax Fire Pro Returns was always supposed to be the last Fire Pro game. However, it got so many preorders the publisher actually didn't have enough games made for everyone to be able to get theirs. I had to wait a week and a half after release date to get my preorder. But the demand virtually disappeared for the game after that, and some people were reporting seeing used copies for sale in GameStop a day or two after it was released. I guess it didn't do so well overall.

Guerrero made Several Ecw appearances. guys like benoit,sabu,RVD,rey mysterio,jericho among others where ecw main stays for a while and all got their first big break in the U.S. wrestling for ECW. no way they'd be where they are with out ECW.

All three of the companies had its own stars, but ECW was what to watch when you wanted to see something more than just typical wrestling.
