Our constitutional freedoms in America have only expanded and America has only become more free. Maybe not for business but personal life it has. I agree with another of the commenters here--Roman mythology wasn't only taken from Greek religion, but also largely from Etruscan religion, and of course evolved through time to promote a very Roman form of morality and statehood. Rome always took aspects from other cultures and made it their own--some might say "vulgarized"

Roman religion was not stolen from Greek religion, since the concept of 'Gods' and subsequent religions all around the world were based on historical contact with extraterrestrials (although distorted over time like chinese whispers), it is clear that the Roman gods would have been similar to Greek gods, Egyptian gods, Sumerian Gods, Hindu Gods etc...because these beings would have all been from the same advanced race and civilisation. well the german's did coppy alot of stuff from the ancient romans because hitler was really into that kind of stuff. Hence the salut and the heavy use of an eagle on every thing hell they even march under an eagle and the banners and so on.
But the USA also coppied too. Marching with banners,the use of an eagle on military gear,having a corrupt senate list goes on.
Definitely an interesting movie clip about roman mythology. I am writing an examination about historical religions very soon and among them there will be the roman beliefs too. But did not the romans think that the earth was flat instead of a globe? It was told that a god created the earth and formed a a great ball out of all chaos. But I think it was Columbus who brought the theory about a round globe during mediaeval times, when he discovered the American continent in 1492AD.
