  • Love it! always puts me in a good mood!

  • Has anyone seen a video on here of the floating island crashing back into the mainland?

  • How does a Push-me-pull-you mate? :O

  • reminds me of childhood:)i love this animal,i am going to runaway and join the circus

  • Anyone notice how all the words are back to front?!?!?

  • Film4 FTW.

  • Push me-pull-you ist that correctly?

  • @Seastorm13 Yup.

  • I was always thinking: How can the animal do his toilette?

  • man that lama can dance, even better than most kids these days. it should be on dancing with the stars.

  • i think this video is in reverse.

  • @MrDelight666 it's mirrored to circumvent the youtube copyright violation bots

  • I totally belong to a circus :S

  • Eddie Murphy ruined the movie and the role. This is terrific.

  • To me there has been and will always be just one Dr. Dolittle. Rex Harron was great actor.

  • Lord Richard Attenborough was just brilliant in this. Others may know him better as John Hammond, the silver-haired developer of Jurassic Park. He is also David Attenborough's older brother.

    Love this movie!

  • This has to be the best song in the movie.

  • f'n win - im gonna remix this

  • Pushmi-pullyu

  • Did anyone else think 'Pimp walk' when he strutted out at the end?

  • Just wondering. Does anyone else have the youtube problem where you fullscreen the video, the audio keeps playing but the video freezes, then you press escape to minimize the vid and the video window turns into a plain black screen with the audio still running? It's ruining my day guys! Help! Running on windows 7. No insults against windows please, that doesn't help anyone.

  • this is a dalai of a lama hiding in the mountains of nepal.

Dancing between Indias hindus & buhdist china. did they make a fool of us all?

  • This movie was a disaster for the studio.

  • after watching this movie, as a small child, i actually really believed that all llamas had two heads! how funny is that!

  • i am getting a tattoo of the push me pull you in the yellow and red ''outfit'' with '' Your never seen anything like it n your life!'' Under it, my nana brought me into the world of musicals and creativity and arts and everything from when i was born just abouts.. and i lost her almost 10 years ago, now the arts are a staple in my life and so this would mean the world to me :) x

  • oh..my.. god! i remember that crazy lama! xD i love this movie!.. i wanna watch it again.. stupid YouTube! >:(

  • I loooved this movie back in the day

  • WORST MUSICAL EVER!

  • does anyone else think that this kinda sounds like Right Said Fred by Bernard Cribbins? or is it just me.

  • most favorite movie when I was a kid, right next to Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I saw Dick Van Dyke on The Late Late Show With Craig Fergison, he's gotten so old but he's still just as funny :D I want this movie on dvd so bad

  • @AlphaTodo Both this film and Chitty were fucking awful FLOPS.

  • Doctor Dollitle was a musical? I never see this version

  • Did you notice that all the signs are in mirror image; as if we're looking at the video from the wrong side of the film.

  • @whk421 it's probably to keep it from being pulled- a lot of vids on youtube are mirrored so that they don't show up as copyrighted.

  • Another Leslie Bricusse composition. Absolutely some of the best music ever written.

  • do you have the full movie

  • So fun to see again - but why mirror'ed ??

Yeah ! - As TenderTrap writes: 70mm made this lovely adventure GREAT !

Why it had no luck at the box-office, I never understand.

  • @biografmand Why no luck at the box office? Because it was a fantasy film, and late 60's movies were all about realism and grittiness. The days of Mary Poppins were over.

Thankfully fantasy films are back in vogue again - even if they lack the charm of this treasure, and they make things like Percy Jackson.

  • @Aussiemarco Also, this film was fucking AWFUL.

  • this is a fantastic song. i know it word for word since i first saw it when i was a child. so many people i know have never seen it, i always reccomend it, cos ive never seen anything like it in my life.

  • Is anything more beautiful than a period film shot in 70mm? I think not. What a spectacular feast for the eyes to behold.

  • i love the way the pushmipullu glares at the ring leader after the dr says "3 performances a day"

  • I love how they include the Pushmepullyou in the negotiations. That just tickles me. ^w^

  • Richard Attenborough, the famous film director, is absolutely charming as Mr. Blossom in this song, and should have won an Oscar for his scintillating interpretation. Terrifically buoyant and delightful! And the song is great too.

  • @Shoe3003

Couldn't agree more. This is easily the most memorable part of an excellent movie, and it's all Mr. Blossom.

  • @Shoe3003

Although, he only has the one scene ad number, Lord Attenborough DID win the Golden Globe for this. It was his second consecutive one. He won the previous year for The Sand Pebbles. Ironically he was not nominated for an Oscar for either role. Indeed, he has never been nominated for an acting Oscar. He won his Oscar for directing.

  • BEST. MUSICAL. EVER!

  • How does that Llama take a poop? I haven't seen this movie is probably 20 yrs. Wow, I use to love this as a kid. These old movies are awesome.

  • @MegaVesper04 Futurama has recently aired an episode describing exactly how such a creature performs its bodily functions.

  • @MegaVesper04

Maybe it's part anorexic, or something? One head eats and the other throws it back up? Even if it doesn't make sense, I still say the two-guys-one-costume version looks much better than the computor graphics one in the *ugh* new Dr. Dolittle. Pathetic, that movie is.

  • @megadork456

I guess that is one theory. Since my comment I have seen this movie again. Brought back a lot of memories. The one creature I always remembered was the giant sea snail of course. I have to say, it wasn't as impressive as I remember as a kid but still very cool for the time. My daughter now discovering it. I agree that remakes of classic movies usually are not very good.

  • @MegaVesper04 I have another question. How do the females give birth?

  • @MegaVesper04 they are powerful.

  • @MegaVesper04 Maybe the anus is somewhere on the bottom?

  • @MegaVesper04 It bum is on its stomach, but it doesn't pee, the push me pull you only drinks melted biscuits and everyone knows melted biscuits cannot be turned into pee

  • @MegaVesper04 it's a push-me-pull-you. not a llama.

  • Sure, it's pretty obvious that it's two guys in a suit, but the pushmepullyou still looks much more life like than the computer generated one in the new Eddie Murphy film.

  • love this!

  • Finally!!! Someone uploaded this song. Thank you very much =)

  • lolz, "I've never seen anything like it!"

"Neither has anybody else" Like he does this all the time. Love this movie, thanks so much for the post.

  • thanks for putting these videos up, I remember looking for some of them earlier and couldn't find any. Fantastic movie.
