There are valid reasons to confine an animal temporarily if it is cared for properly and not kept for longer than necessary. It may cause them distress, in the same way bringing a young child to the doctor may cause them distress, but it will be to their benefit.

This Lynx may have been causing problems in its general area (threatening a family, eating pets/livestock), and needed to be caged and released somewhere else. It doesn't look like it's been hurt or anything, which is all the should matter.

In order to obtain these animals, the person has to go through several processes to obtain the licenses.... Then after that they have to be properly cared for... I'm pretty sure that this cat has most of its proper needs. I would think its owner would tend to these in risk of loosing all of his privileges and spending jail time...

@PJ3love the animals nature is violent and aggreseive. The only reason i even searched up lynxs is because I was in a park with my girl and something was growling in the bushes so we ran. It did follow us a bit but i didnt see because it was dark. Her mom said it may have been a lynx so i searched it up. Turns out it was. I have personal experience alone with people that study animals aka facts. they're violent and aggresive.
