I would like to invite you to show Scripturaly that there is more then One Religion...
The Bible is pretty clear that it can be interpreted only One way, and all those of the True Religion will be fitly united and of the same mind and thought
Where is there even an implication that God would have different people with different ways of worshiping him?
If there is not a true religion, then was there some other one during the Israelite 40 wandering in the desert as well?
It depends on what YOU mean by 'true religion'. God has never had an imperfect human serve as a divine registrar to decide who was acceptable to God. So 'True Religion' cannot refer to a human-run organization. True Religion refers to all people who hold to the set of God-determined fundamental standards. They are all acceptable to God (Romans 14:1,4,18,22), even though they may be diverse on non-essentials.
@letusreason1234 I am glad you feel you have an answer, even though I completely disagree. I imagine you believe you have thought this through and have answers. Please go through all the videos, including the one on 'false prophecies' and post your answers so other reviewers can compare your answers with the videos. As long as the comments are polite I will leave them up.
@JaySHess Oh, you mentioned Moses was a divine registrator. I understand people challenged him and God used him to disseminate God's law but I see no evidence that Moses dictated the everyday lives. He just passed on God's Law. I see no evidence that he made decisions on who was or was not acceptable to God.
@JaySHess (Exodus 18:13-27) would tend to prove otherwise. You will read here that Moses sat down as Judge of the people, and they came to him morning to evening.
He would hear the Small and Large cases and it began to wear him out. His father in-law suggests that he should appoint capable men from among the people to handle the small cases and to only bring the large ones to Moses.
These men then served as Judges, with Moses making decisions on who was or was not acceptable to God.
@letusreason1234 These men served as judges to help the people know what they should do as they attempted to apply the laws given through Moses. This has NOTHING to do with who was acceptable to God. Please provide references that specifically demonstrate that someone was NOT acceptable to God based on some human's decision. Further show God approved that decision. Further show that it was God's intent to appoint that human and give that authority to be such a registrar.
@JaySHess You answered yourself. God appointed Moses as Judge, and Moses appointed these men as co-Judges. Moses had received Gods Law and people would come to him to Judge matters. Religious matters...
In fact the Torah is known as the 'Books of Moses' or the 'Law of Moses' even the 'Mosaic Law'
Those who listened to the Judgements were blessed; those who opposed Moses, and the words given him to speak, were usually killed or stricken with disease by God himself. Aarons Wife Miriam
@letusreason1234 It seems you have changed the thread to something I agree with. I agree that God chose Moses and inspired him by putting his words into Moses' mouth. And anyone opposed to Moses' inspired words is also against God and in deep trouble. But I thought you wanted to discuss whether God has ever had a human registrar. I will watch your posts to see if you ever want to change back to the original topic.
@letusreason1234 I agree God uses spokesmen, but not human registrars. But if the spokesmen disobey, or make false prophecies, and they do not repent before those they deceived, they are rejected.
Again, the Scriptures give us many examples to examine and learn from...
I would really enjoy an answer from you from the Scriptures... I do not wish to have a philosophical debate or argument based on yours or anyone else definition or notion of what a cult or false prophet is or is not...
Can you back up what your are saying using the Bible? Or must you revert to name calling (False Prophet... etc...)???
@letusreason1234 If you have seen any of my videos you know I never do name calling. If you do not wish to address the video on 'false prophecies' and the publication "The Nations shall know that I am Jehovah" that is ok too - but wish u would. If you want to ask about the other videos, or give your answer, that would be great! If you want to ask Bible questions, that is ok but the youtube chat-boxes are so limited in text length that it is difficult to carry on a conversation.
Anything can be communicated effectively in only a few sentences if worded correctly...
I do not wish to go into the different videos at this time, but can you, using Scripture, show that there are many people who can be in many religions and still be practicing what is true?
Quite a few verses that I have read say quite the opposite... In fact, right from the Bible, it says that Jesus followers should have No Divisions
@letusreason1234 The verses I showed before in Romans 14 show there was diversity in the Christian body. There was unity on the essentials but diversity on the non-essentials. I do not believe there was a divine registrar (Rm 14:12) so I do not believe there was just one human directed religion (Rm 14:8). Each diverse view could be held firmly in mind (Rm 14:2,5) but for the sake of peace the view may need to be kept private (Rm 14:22).
@JaySHess believers should as well (Rm 14:18). This is what I meant in my video when referring to different religions having truth and being acceptable to God. In 1 Cor 1-3 Paul speaks against divisions caused by following humans, including even following Peter the Apostle. Instead they should be looking ONLY to Christ. There is nothing here that speaks against the diversity Paul describes in Romans 14 which allowed members to be firmly convinced in their own mind (Rm 14:5).
@JaySHess The Bible teaches complete unity of worship, not diverse
(1 Corinthians 1:10) Now I exhort YOU, brothers, through the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that YOU should all speak in agreement, and that there should not be divisions among YOU, but that YOU may be fitly united in the same mind and in the same line of thought.
(Ephesians 4:4, 5) One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
That is right...There is no talking to JW's because they will do NO LISTENING. In a coversation if both parties don't take their turn listening to the others point of view, you really are not communicating at all.

@JaySHess Yes , in fact God has at MOST times had an imperfect human serve as a divine registrator...
Moses is a very good example, and people challenged him constatnly (Recall the rebellious talk of Korah)
He was imperfect, but God used him to dictate the everyday lives of the israelites and give the law to them...
He did the Same throughout the Bible using the Prophets, and finally through the Apostles and older men in the 1st century...
Your statment is not accurate, sorry...

@letusreason1234 You said "Aarons Wife Miriam." What does that mean?
JaySHess 3 weeks ago
@JaySHess (Numbers 12:1-16) Aaron and Miriam speak against Moses and asked an accusing question against Moses saying:
"Is it just by Moses alone that Jehovah has spoken? Is it not by us also that he has spoken?"
And Jehovah struck Miriam with leprosy...
God uses spokesmen. Not many contradicting ones. He would not have this one teaching THIS and that one teaching THAT. He is a God of unity and Order.
Moses ALONE spoke for Jehovah, and Jehovah made that clear.

@letusreason1234 I still do not get what you meant by 'Aarons Wife Miriam'? Miriam was not Aarons wife - she was his sister.
JaySHess 3 weeks ago
@JaySHess Oh man, I did write that didn't I?
I am sorry, Aarons sister... you are absolutely correct... sorry, and Thank you :)
So, Miriam, Aarons sister, was stricken with disease for questioning Moses... People questioned the Apostles in their day.
God appoints who he will, for whatever reason he so chooses. He does not appoint several men, teaching completely different things in different groups
If he did he would be lying to one group and not the other. Bible says One Truth
