absolutely. Part of this video was to share about "different and unique" foods. But regular cukes would work. Be sure to get them as HARD and FIRM as possible, as limp ones do not work as well when juicing.
Pennywort is a leafy green, so yes, it will juice pennywort. That being said, you will need to juice pennywort (or other leafy greens) with hard, firm vegetables (and alternate them) for best results in the VRT.
@rawfoods John thank you,for that, and I must say I am totally impressed by your involvement to health side of things. If you don't mind I've a few other small questions. #1 I'm looking for a good food processor, do you have some good direction to point me? #2 I've been viewing your videos on the machines that enable one to make rice milk, butter and so forth. Which one of the machines are more multipurpused ? Thanks
John- What in the world are you feeding those 18' peppers??? Amazing! Thanks for the terrific videos- looking forward to my first purchase w/Discount Juicers

I prefer the cuisinart food processor, which what I use in my home.
On the multipurpose machines, its hard to find one that will "do it all". The 8004 or 8006 will do most things except make the nut milks.
