what the did u like cough or spit thats funny and thnx for the onfo im going camping in a couple of weeks and i need to know how ot start a campfire thnx hehe
you need to clear a bigger area thats way to dangerus for fire trust me in know i burnt down a huge field not clearing my space properly its ok thought cause its just dead grass on a farming field hadent been used in while it helps fertilize the ground so it worked out
@Fagadaba lol when i looked at your comment i went back to it and bursted i keep playing it over and over it sounds like he posesed by a ghost and coughs lol its so funny
@debay777 That is a good point, clear that out first, and then use that stuff as firestarter after. It will be a kinda stinky fire, but at least it won't burn your stuff up,
The lean-to fire is the best way. Eventually all fires just end up being a mass of coals and stick anyhow. the teepee fire is the hardest cause the top of the sticks burn off and then it all just falls down and tends to go out or if your lucky you end up with a messy lean-to fire again. The lean-to can also sheild or otherwise direct wind to or away from your fire which is another advantage.

Real smart start he fire next to the pine straw 😳 other than that it is good.

I use the log cabin. It creates a heat vortex in the center and is the quickest to flame up and make coals.

bad spot for a fire....dry pine needles?
bschreffler 11 months ago 2
but he EVER said any thing about moving all that dry pine from around the area and base of the fire so as not to light the hole forest on fire
I will say it again these so called experts for going to get someone hurt or killed with the crap they put out

I usually go for the log cabin style it lets air flow through from any direction even if the wind changes.
This video seems pretty rushed and skips over everything I would have liked to seen it more detailed especially for kids or novices.
Not bad but not great.

go to walmart and buy the fire starters they are super cheap (less then a buck) and super light weight, it really helps people.
