It would be nice if you could put the romanji in the description like you did for the first one. My Japanese is not that up to par with just listening and trying.
@ToLokyo Thanks!! Look for a video response tomorrow of me trying to say the first tongue twister! namamugi, namagome, namatamago . I also subscribed to you with on my Main Channel account: LaneVid and followed you on twitter. I hope you travel safely!
Hehe - I was gonna make a video response to this at some point referring to that at some point, but just one too many things going on right now. But I think you're right - it could be that too. :)
I joined youtube lately and this is one of my first comments! So please よろしくお願いします!
Regarding to 隣の客, I was so amazed to know there could be another meaning as "a guest visiting my neighbour" as Ciaela said, she must be so smart! As a Japanese, what I picture from 隣の客はよく柿食う客だ is the same as yours.
"Hey, just take a slight look at the guy sitting next to me. He is hogging down persimmons. What the heck!"
That's interesting that you thought the same thing as me. Thanks for commenting about it! :D
In fact, in most places that you search online in English, it translates it the way Ciaela said it, so I'm glad to have support from a Japanese person. ^^
You can do it man! Just try practicing...I'd say if you practice it slowly about 5-10 times, you'll get it down. And then you just have to slowly speed up a little bit.
Give it about 15 minutes, and you'll have it down. ;)
It totally was a cute surpise. ^_^ And my bday totally was awesome, haha. PS. I love how excited you are in the beginning of this vid. Actually, I'm gonna feature it right now. Good idea, me!
And glad you liked the surprise. It woulda' sucked if you took out a restraining order on me. Those things really ruin my stalking ability...don't they understand some people have unique hobbies!?? :P
I kinda purposefully let it slide under the radar a little bit - half out of laziness, but also, I kinda want the series to build hype as it goes along, so it's better if the first video isn't overwhelming.
Haha - it's not really a useful phrase in the real world. But it's useful for practicing sounds/mouth movements. Just like English tongue twisters are usually nonsense.
Thanks - I try to improve all the time. ^^
Still have a lot of work to do though...this video took me WAY too long to edit. I need to get faster at it.
Don't worry - that's my fault, not yours. Actually I wrote Hayaguchi in the last video and I mislead everyone with that. I plan to make a video explaining that problem...after I get a little more sleep eventually.
Haha - so I'm genuinely curious. Because...well...does anyone really know what a tongue twister means anyway? When I look it up, pretty much everyone agrees with your explanation. But does that mean mine couldn't be right too?
It would be nice if you could put the romanji in the description like you did for the first one. My Japanese is not that up to par with just listening and trying.

I mean, do you get a chance to say that? is like... what if your neighbor's guests don't eat anything!
It'd turn into a useless sentense to remember ¬¬
I'm starting to see changes, bit by bit, on your videos. Somehow it feels you've been practicing. Maybe a few tuts here and there?
Keep up the good work! See you in 100.
