  • Ouch, that hole in the bass drum is a little too big, awesome kit though!

  • @KeysUpOnTheTable the hole started ripping so i had to cut it bigger around it, i since have got a new head.

  • @HoboCabbage are you being serious when you say gigantic floor tom...because thats a pussy floor tom

  • @zackattack94 lol? you missed the context completely gg

  • @HoboCabbage Oh I get it now....LOL

  • Nevermind this answered my question in my comment on your other video. Nice setup and drumming. I have my own little studio, but i play guitar. Hopefully can get a band started again soon. Anyways, sounds and looks good.

  • Awesome info man I am still in the learning process of getting a good home recording. I played wow for like years too LOL ..

  • thats sexy bro... i might do a tour of my drums, then of my recording studio+software... but idk kinda lazy and swamped with work.

the red and the blue set, jeez i love that tho, probably not intentional but i just love it lol

  • By the way, Hobo, what do you use for you snare side? I prefer the Ambasador Hazy personally.

  • i havent messed with snare side skins, ihave the stock porkpie skin in there, whick im pretty sure is made by remo.

  • @HoboCabbage Oh, ok. Thanks....Porkpie snares sound awesome anyway

  • @HoboCabbage

    thanks

  • what type of heads ar those and how much where they

  • On the snare he has a Remo Powerstroke3 coated (can't see what he has on bottom). On the toms he has Remo Pinstripe (looks like top and bottom from what I see)

You can usually get those in a pack at your local guitar center for around $30US; or the generally run $8-$15US each depending on size

  • Dude, really, don't talk about stuff you don't know fully :( He DOES have remo pinstripe on the toms, but he also has a remo pinstripe on the snare, just coated, and the remo pinstripe coated will run you about $30 canadian, I have one myself ;)

  • actually... johnyquest is right, that is a Remo Powerstroke3 on the snare. and clear pinstripes on the top/bottoms of the toms

  • go to 1:30 and look for yourself. lol so brazenly telling someone that they dont know what they are talking about, when they are exactly right... and you are way off. its ok i still love ya.

  • Ah, now I see what you mean, the pinstripe on has 1 of the gray stripes, whereas the powerstroke has 2. Sorry about that. :(

  • what kind of recording system/software do you use?

  • cubase

  • cool, i do too, if u dont mind, what do u have ur mics going into directly tho?

  • the preamps built into my Tascam FW 1884 controller/interface

  • Yeah, that was a good informative vid. You should go more into detail about both drum/cymbal choice, how you work on your sound mixing and maybe even practice routines. You put out good stuff, cheers man!

  • sweet

  • i thought i'd let all you newbs know, that paint on that wall is much redder then that. red paint increases your tone x30000.

  • really? the color of paint can change the way it sounds? you'll need to expand on that one day...

BTW, the room looks really good, Erol!

  • Wow I had no idea you had all that setup in there. Cool Vid *S*

  • sick
