The problem with the stimulus is that with increased spending comes increased regulation. Okay first of all the only corner that was cut was that instead of being registered in the u.s. the rig was registered in the marshall islands and the only reason it was registered there was that it takes about 3 weeks to inspect and oil rig the flys the flag of united states where a foreign flaged rig only takes about 8 hours but still that's beside the point because over 2,000 rigs operate under this countries flag and i dont see 2,000 oil rigs exploding in the Gulf of Mexico...
