I was an O/C at the NTC for 22 rotations on the Bronco team. This movie can never fully explain the hard work that goes into each rotation on the bluefor, opfor, or OC side of the house. Many places attempt to simulate what Fort Irwin has, but none will ever come close.

argh, i was in the unit that was there for that rotation. All i can say is thank god it was only 2 weeks. Im glad the majority of us in the unit didnt see what was going on behind the scenes that month. i loved the movie tho, not many movies do what this movie did without offending someone, so all in all a good time.

oh and it was kind of confusing, because they really didnt show the units' soldiers, they showed a unit from the 3rd infantry division instead of the 1stcav guys that were there.
