  • These videos always make me feel like I should be practicing right now.

  • The ensemble could use some work, but nice work,

  • cute cellist. lol.

  • Maybe some minor flaws, but it's a spirited interpretation and I've enjoyed listening.

  • What kind of comment is that? Do you need to have histrionics to make the music expressive? This particular cellist has a very fine tone and plays convincingly. As a cellist, I know that it is indeed possible to play beautifully and expressively without having to move about. Especially when playing chamber music, moving about and calling attention to yourself is just plain distracting. If you need movement to appreciate the music you listen to, may I suggest MTV?

  • Congratulations for your courage! This is a piece for study many and many years.Keep going.

  • Smith is fantastic. Has great timing and feeling. I'm so impressed with this, such a difficult piece to perform, especially for youths!

ABSOLUTELY wonderful job, there is no need for pickyness- and I'm willing to bet, those giving "advice" are merely musical fans and don't actually play an instrument.

  • The violinist could work on staying with the pianist/cellist because there are many times when he slows down. When he does though, the pianist and cellist could work to try and follow the violinist? However, just try not to make it drag too much.

    Great work otherwise. =]

  • i noticed that too but it was very minor, most people wouldnt notice

i suspect they havent been playing togather long and are still feeling the piece out and are still getting used to playing togather

  • sometimes we had the feeling the piano was getting a bit too frantic...believe me I know how easy it is to fall off the knife-edge of the pianopart here. but you need to live dangerously for it to be exciting and really hang together. Generally for the piano though more fingery and lighter..less pedal it needs to sparkle through - or it gets a bit heavy and we loose the cello bass.

  • the tempo was definitely uneven at times

  • Good work. This is a difficult work to bring off. It is difficult for all concerned - not least the pianist who has a zillion notes. There are a few moments where ensemble was clearly taxed - im sure you guys know where these are. In terms of balance..the piano can often drop back. Both the Grace and Charles could learn a lot from Daniels exquisite phrasing and placement..

  • this is so beautiful!

  • I like the cellist! He's cute =D

    Where is he from? British?

  • omg, is that dan smith on the cello? I know him! How's he doing? where's he going to school?

  • you must to study so much...

  • good job...sound nice
