  • omg i cried love the video

  • my gramps died 9 years ago today he didn't die young he nearly 75 but they never told me he was sick. he was just gone one day i never got to see him in the hospital or say good bye, i never knew my dad so my gramps decided to bemy dad the day he met me and even with my mom's steam of boyfriends i knew deep down that he would be the only one i would ever send a father's day card to. i thought he would live forever because i could imagine life with out him i was 7 when he died i miss you gramps

  • My dad died on January 24th, 2004, after suffering for years with a brain tumor. For the last six months of his life, he had to be put on assisted breathing, and my little brother and i weren't allowed to visit him. He died with my mom holding his hand. During the funeral, I was the only one talking, asking my mom when he was going to wake up. I was six years old.

My dad was my hero, the person that I looked up to, the person that I cared the most about. He was 36 when he died.

    Miss you, Daddy

  • @AmoSiesta I fell really bad for you! hope u feel better its really hard when a parent dies

  • My dad was the only one who listen to me. He was 48 when he died of a stroke. It was Dec. 18, 2006 A week before Christmas. I was 7. He was my bestfriend, my life, and something I look forward to be home for. We moved to NC and my mom quit her job. Unemployed for 6 years. The gov't gave us money, and now she is in school for billing and coding. But, I always here him in my head telling me to be strong.

But sometimes I fall apart and I have break downs in the middle of the night. RIP Daddy ILY.

  • i would never in my life want one of my friends or family to die, im already crying, reading comments from other people of what happened to there fam member. guys i know its hard, i went through it twice. my grandfather died of cancer and he was always there for mee, always made me feel high and loved everyone and i neveer knew my grandmother. she died when i was 1, i know she was an amazing girl

  • this is an awesome song me and my friend were talking after my granny,we were real close and i was with her when she died and we decided to make another versing of it and if u want u can listin to it when it gets posted every time i hears it she cries because this song makes me think of her......

  • @jenius124 It can't be about suicide as, according to the Bible, suicide is a sin and therefore the singer would not go to heaven. From the Wikipedia article: The song's female narrator describes being content with the life she has lived, assuring others that if she were to die at her young age, that she would have no regrets....."

  • who cares what you're burried in when you are dead

  • i wish this would play with my girlfriend at my prom.... but this generation is such a failure

  • @battledude46v2 So that means you're in high school. I'm 13, and my age group sucks. Completely. We do nothing except listen to music and laugh at each other on facebook. We backstab, we don't try. We take everything we want, and don't think about the consequences. My age group is beyond a failure.

  • this reminds me of my special person i wish she was here with me

  • but roses have thorns

it would hurt for eternity to lay in bed of thorns

  • Dean's List or die young

  • @masons19girl no offence, but tell the police and bury him. He will start to smell soon if you are going to wait for him to wake up. Not being funny either, but I think he is dead :(

  • Blaze radio plays this one often. Love it so. Amazing writing.

  • this is such a nice song

  • awe this song is so amazing!

  • Beautiful and Evocative... can't help but be held mesmerized... stunningly poignant.

  • omg why does this song sound so familiar? whats it from?

  • I really don't like country and I was at my cousins the other night and all they play is country and this song came on. Five hardcore boys all singing along to this song mind you none of them knew the name but it was awesome. This song is really awesome for a country song (some of them are alright...). I was feeling so bad when I went there, they always know how to cheer me up even if they aren't trying. This song is now in my favs even if it's country lol.

  • @sarah1oszter the same thinq kinda happened to me too... this sonq is inspirational

  • My friend just lost her brother at age 15, and this song... it really describes his life because even though he was physically disabled he was always smiling... and he never seemed bothered by his condition.

  • this song goes to my bff named asley

  • WOW, WHERE HAVE THESE FOLKS BEEN ? MY NEW FAVS!

  • I absolutely love this song I am always singing it to my patients at work

  • Strange thing about this song... My mother passed away on 10/13/10 and for about a week before she passed, I became addicted to this song. This song speaks a lot about her life; it truly was a sharp knife, as she fought pain and addiction in her 48 years. She felt like no one (besides me) listened to her... there are so many people that wished they had done more for her, listened to her more, and shown her more love. Hold your loved ones close... life really is short.

  • @drparrish830/ that's deep

  • @drparrish830 Im sorry about your mother! :(

  • @drparrish830 awwww:( im so sorry! things get better they really do! ....

  • @drparrish830 I feel so bad for you

  • @drparrish830 Wow I'm sorry to hear about ur mother. My father passed away on 10/13/10 too from cancer and I did the same thing listened to this song all the time for weeks before. Gone too soon..

  • @drparrish830

My father died of anaplastic thyroid cancer on the 11th and I was caught in traffic right after coming to visit him. This song was playing on the radio when the phone rang and I got the news of his passing. It holds very deep meaning for me too.

  • @trueborngamer11 *people *themselves *means

  • Wow this was BEAUTIFUL

  • this is country! cause all country is routed in bluegrass and bluegrass is from Ireland and Scotland. and this song i can hear celtic in it i love this song

  • @Jamesmorris76 Not quite. Immigrants from England and Ireland brought over fiddles to the American colonies which eventually stemmed off to traditional american fiddle. Then the banjo came along and old time was born. Earl Scruggs started using finger picks on the banjo and Bill Monroe popularized the mandolin and BAM! The begining of bluegrass. English, Irish and Scottish traditional music were all definatley the main influences on America's traditional music. Yeah I've got too much time.......
