I'vev been trying to find this, but does anyone know if H2o is by the same people as Kanon, (2006 version) and Air tv? because the faces are similar as well as the story.

Actually there's really not much in common. H2O was done by Zexcs, whereas Kanon and Air were done by Kyoto Animation. Kanon and Air were originally visual novels produced by Key, while H2O is by Makura. Hope that helps! The wikipedia entries are fairly accurate if you need more information.
