I love this song and Taking Back Sunday (at least their old stuff) and I recognize that these guys are talented musicians but this is definitely off key. I don't care how much you like TBS, don't let your bias cloud your judgement. It doesn't take anything away from them or their music.

@dazaran11693 Yeah you're right, shaun and john finished and toured during their TAYF album.. the original line up of tbs actually was antonio longo on vocals, jesse lacey on bass and vocals, john nolan on guitar and vocals, eddie reyes on guitars, and stephen dejoseph on drums. adam lazarra took over bass after lacey left, and soon replaced by shaun cooper after adam did vocals when longo left.. stephen was replaced by Mark..so basically, eddie reyes is the only original member of TBS...
see THIS is the original line up, fred and matt are in the band. John nolan and shaun cooper left while they were still recording this album! i have no idea why they have the nerve to say they want the original line up back and bring back the two guys that didnt even finish 1 album with them and kick matt rubano out!!
@stpeters53 False, They finished tell all your friends with John and Shaun and toured with them. Technically they aren't back to their original line up because they had two ep's before TAYF with a different singer.

Adam's voice has a good tone but he is TERRIBLE at keeping in tune. Luckily for him, tuning is the one thing out of the two that can be easily altered in the studio so he sounds awesome on the albums

He's not a very adaptive singer. So if the song was tuned down for an acoustic session, he wouldn't hit those notes too well. Otherwise, he's an alright singer.

John nolan and shaun cooper left while they were still recording this album! i have no idea why they have the nerve to say they want the original line up back and bring back the two guys that didnt even finish 1 album with them and kick matt rubano out!!

@stpeters53 False, They finished tell all your friends with John and Shaun and toured with them. Technically they aren't back to their original line up because they had two ep's before TAYF with a different singer.

Adam's voice has a good tone but he is TERRIBLE at keeping in tune. Luckily for him, tuning is the one thing out of the two that can be easily altered in the studio so he sounds awesome on the albums

@frezno109 haha thats not true at all. i've seen him live so many times and he's not a horrible singer at all. his voice is mad different from a lot of bands out there and he sounds just as good at shows as he does on the records.

@masseffectrock dude(tte)...his voice is so pitchy. the don't in the first line goes sharp at the end, 'dime' goes all over the place both times, 'overrated' is sharp and the chorus is sharp the entire time. i could go on for days haha. don't get me wrong, i like the band a lot, butttt this is not a good performance.

He's not a very adaptive singer. So if the song was tuned down for an acoustic session, he wouldn't hit those notes too well. Otherwise, he's an alright singer.

@apachepepeto, no, bands bring the pitch down because most of the time, the highs you hear on recordings are edited, and the singers cant hit the notes live

@BlackWidowsScenario yeah they might bring it down, but they are usually still in key. he is completely off half the time. he could have brought it down an octave or down to a third or another harmonic to make it sound nice if he couldnt hit the notes, but he is just completely off. there is a difference

It's commonplace to tune down for live stuff. A lot of singers can't hit what you hear on the records.
