Well...I'm pretty sure I could do this...all they're doing is singing the rhythym, and if you notice in the background I think they have the guitar track from Battery...and all they do is distort the vocals to make it sound like the instruments...which isn't really a cappella...

Wah is an effect often utilized by guitar players. it uses a foot pedal called a "wah pedal" it causes the sound to (hard to explain) become thicker and thinner at differing speed depending how fast you are pressing the foot pedal up and down. To hear some good Wah guit listen to some Jimi hendrix or Steve Vai. they often use wah pedals in their songs.

Another explanation of it is like a tone-control. When you push with your heel and put less weight on the front with the toes, you get a more beefy, bass-y sound, whereas when you push with the toes, you get a more shrill, treble-filled tone. It's mostly used for solos and leads, but I have heard (and use it personally) with riffs to accent them. Hope you got some of that, if not, let me know and I'll try again, hah. :D
