It's a good thing they didn't have Shatner in this movie. Having the real James Tiberius Kirk on screen while AU "Hawt" Kirk also happened to be on screen would have made it even more obvious that Chris Pine was a terrible replacement. To be honest, I would have enjoyed a movie with all the old actors "acting young" than this crew of hack-job cadets.
