Jello seems like a really tolerant guy, I've never seen anyone share or grab a mic to that extent with a singer, then he had someone straight ontop of him straight after that lol
You've obviously never been to a hardcore punk show. Singing along was encouraged. I also thought that being an individual was too. Apparently Jello made the same kind of uninformed snap judgment as the jocks at my high school who beat up punks and people of questionable gender orientations.
Dude who grabbed Jello's mic here. That was a fun night and thanks for posting. I can see a lot of old friends and it brings back some great memories. The On Broadway was six blocks from my house so we practically lived at that joint in the early 80's. I too have have the whole show on video. Interestingly, the scene where Jello kicked me off the stage for wearing a tie dye was not included. Guess he later realized how f-ing hypocritical it made him look.
Jello obviously felt it wasnt that bad since you can see him willingly let go of the mic to gesture a bit.
I think Jello has some good and bad, he can be pretentious and arrogant at times, but does have some good insight on corporate america and ripped them a new asshole so i guess it balances out.
@Seanz1lla actually ended up singing way more than I planned to. Listen to my voice crack, pretty much implying "Jello dude, when are you going to take this back?!"
The Dead Kennedys have always been the real deal, the only real punk band and by far the best, no circus clown John Lydon and Sid Vicious puppets in this band .
