The Blue Bird is perhaps his most performed secular work. If you like this then I urge you to seek out his orchestral works some posted here on You Tube.
Wonderully expressive singing of this gem of the choral repertoire. The soprano soloist's last note was just magical. I say this as a choral conductor of 40 years with a lot of experience on the competition circuit in my homeland and abroad. Congratulations, and thanks for a truly great performance.

I note that the piece is being sung a semi-tone higher than written. That means the already high tessitura for the solo is even more impressive.
