i like how the alstom cars (6000 series) were decorated. the ad itself may be boring, but it does a great job decorating the train LOL!

Ha remember how we ran for it? each car is 75 feet, plus we were about 20 ft from last car before we ran, so about 480ft from doors opening, to doors closing during metro's rush hour schedule...so less than 20 seconds if not 15

That is the way the train should be, not mixed with a 1000 series in the middle. All 6 cars should be of the same series, not mixed up

@DCAreaTransitFan actually there shouldnt be an all 1000 series train, it would be a nice nostalgia ride yes, but DC summer with that crappy A/C no, plus all those people would complain about safety if they knew what they were in, otherwise 3000 and up whole train consists should be *ahem* "APPROVED" , plus ppl always , mess up my traction motor recordings by calling someone while we're in public yelling at some woman about their crappy relationship

@DCAreaTransitFan I agree too, I personally think that these cars were ment to be compatible with each other. I hear that since the y mixed the rohrs with the others, the destination signs have not been working.
