I think they should make it to be after DMC 2. Let us note that at the end of DMC 2, Dante rides a motor cycle into hell, and that was the last time he was seen, he could have died for all we know (wink, wink). Think of the possibilities if they made a game about Dante's adventure through hell. He could fight old enemies like Phantom and Griffin, maybe a rematch with Mundus. Just as long as they don't kill off Dante ^_^

I actually don't mind the new design, except for the fact that they're calling that guy Dante when it's clearly not. If Capcom gave him an identity of his own instead of leeching off of Original!Dante, I'd be intrigued. Instead, I'm just pissed.

Kingdom Hearts makes me cringe a little in retrospect. Doesn't really change the fact that I think the whole Roxas/Sora/Ven connection is freaking awesome. If nothing else, Square has good plots. Their execution is just lacking, sometimes.

See, i'm a very open minded gamer. I think series have a right to do what they want with any sequels. I love the FF series, and i love FFXIII despite what people say. I like the Splinter Cell series, and I love Conviction despite what people say. I'm especially a big fan of all the Halos despite all the changes they make.

@EdenSorrow We know but still it has the name DMC. Whether it is a reboot or a prequel, Dante has to be Dante and the DMC gameplay must be familiar to fans as well. Just like Batman is still Batman in both the Dark Knight and the Tim Burton's Batman. If the game doesn't have any similarities with the other DMC games then it may succeed as its own game but fails as a DMC game (like the 1998 shitty Godzilla movie).
