no. the Denali is not built for racing. the Fury did pretty well off the line. if the Denali had a different cam higher stall some headers and low gears it would launch like hell

It's got a procharger on it running around 9-10lbs of boost with exhaust and other supporting mods such as a built tranny with a 2900 stall converter. And yes, i have seen the worlds fastest escalade. I have talked to the guys who built it and for there 12 second pass they were running more boost and a 63mm turbo instead of the usual 5 lbs with a 43mm turbo. I would run him, but it wouldn't be pretty if he was running the bigger turbo and high boost.

You're both wrong.
The Denali was slower of the line, meaning it lacks low end torque in comparison, and its 4WD didn't help much either.
My best guess is the Denali benefits from its higher topspeed.
(My worst guess is black cars are faster than red cars)
