  • пиздец у нас депутатов лучше охраняют

  • @alistair100. Why not? It is generally known that the warheads stay in the trucks when they are inside the DSG base.

  • There would be no nuclear material in those trucks when this video was taken as they are exiting a MOD service centre.

  • @agt155. That makes sense

  • @neilb229. Agreed.

  • A dangerous waste of money. The sooner we're independent and those things are off the Clyde the better.'What keeps you and me safe at night'. Aye right!!

  • @101seaking. Very bright, I must say.

  • i so want them to come past my town so i can give them hints on who to nuke

  • why the hell would you want to scrap them? in a time of world peace perhaps but come on, stupid hippies!

  • I wonder who/what is in the other vehicles, like at 0:09s and 0:25s. CPU?

  • @tubazoid An 'escort party' accompanies them.

  • Its the wanker protesters that are more likley to cause any accidents....!

  • This is a decoy, they really use those Eddie Stobart lorries for the job, nobody suspects a thing ;)

  • @SlightyDisturbedNBK

eddies naa to OTT, its sent in a argos lorrie or even more secret - tescos home delivery

  • @anikidwolfy No...nowadays they usually come in an ice-cream-van with music blaring.

  • I hope they used plenty of bubble wrap...

  • the convoys which come from faslane are protected by a number of police when going through checkpoints, but the main escort is a unit of marines from FPGRM (fleet protection group royal marines) who are based at faslane

  • Some them today near newcastle

  • It amazes me that the people driving past these trucks are blissfully unaware that they hold weapons powerfull enough to flatten everything within five miles of them -_-

  • from what i know, nuclear warhead's have a lockout system - if when you try to arm it and enter an incorrect security code the bomb will basically be locked and can never activated, so a giant radioactive paper-wehight xD

  • @grumpyrozzer. Are you saying that the plutonium element and the high explosive element are carried in separate convoys or separate trucks?

  • @lazybeds I doubt they could seperate the plutonium core from the high explosive lenses effectively once assembled. There is probably some part of the detonation system kept seperate that would need to be added to 'arm' the bomb.

  • The weapons are not caried "whole" they are transported in a different way as to not cause a re-action if an accident should occur.

  • what???? awjlogan

  • Comment removed

  • @awjlogan The reason they can bring it into the middle of the town is because they know nothing is going to happen to the convoy or any nuclear accidents,in that convoy there is probably Mi5, SAS, Commandos & armed police and the trailers these weapons are in are so well protected that a nuclear bomb it's self can't damage the cargo, some people may not like what's inside but that's what keeps you & me safe at night there is 0% chance we will ever use them but there there in case somebody tries

  • @Michael1918 how do you know this convoy is transporting nukes? in the us if the military transports nukes through a town. the public would not know until the convoy is safe at its destination. over here the military uses civilian trucks to camoflage its true purpose. most of the time the security escort dresses and act like state and federal police. not too long ago the air force closed down a hidden nuclear silo that was not too far from where i live and nobody knew it was there for 30 years.

  • @black10872 We know these trucks carry nukes because the government have confirmed it and they only travel to nuclear bases, there is no point in trying to pretend to be the public transporting normal cargo that is when you are asking for trouble, the protection this convoy has is truly amazing and the trailers are so well made a bomb can't damage the cargo.

  • @Michael1918 i have no doudt that this convoy is extremely well protected. but in my opinion i think secrecy is the best protection a convoy like this can have. what the public don't know will not hurt. what say you friend? do you support secrecy or do you believe the public should have the right to know?

  • @black10872 We have the right to know what are roads are being used for and as the UK has many military bases we are use to such convoys going through each day and a convoy like this one in the video can't be hidden we know these weapons exist and know where there based so what's the point of trying to hide them. There has been no attempt to steal these weapons since the convoy's begun and nobody would dare to try and take them these weapons are safe and don't go off by accident.

  • @Michael1918 some states have more military bases than others. our biggest states like california, and texas are military hubs. and virgina has a load of army and naval bases. to see a convoy like this maybe normal in those areas but to travel state to state secrecy is definitely enforced. and if this weapon is going to the midwest or a state that has a low population like nevada and new mexico. then most likely a train will be used.

  • @black10872 Who's to say that there are any warheads in this convoy? Perhaps this whole lot IS a decoy, and the warheads are actually carried in ordinary-looking shipping containers on commercial trucks to not attract attention.

  • @black10872 i have no doudt that this convoy is extremely well protected. but if the military moves something that important from point a to point b and nobody knows about it. then thats the best protection in the world in my opinion. what say you? do you support secrecy or do you believe that the public should know such things?

  • @black10872 Well, they don't deny the presence of convoys, but they don't shout about it either.

  • @Michael1918 Just a heads up, MI5's an intelligence agency not a military one and therefore would have no point in a nuke convoy.

  • @Michael1918 Cant agree any more with what you said, I was talking to an ex royal marine commando as I am hoping to be an hopeful for the future and he told me about when he guarded nuclear weapons and maybe he was in this convoy
