I used to back the bike up, while sitting on it, and crush an aluminum can in the middle. I would then ride forward and get a motorcycle sound. This was when I was twelve years old. Now I have a motorcycle so I don't have to pretend anymore!

I remember way back when, (sorry, I'm 47, forgive me.) My father used to put old playing cards held on my clothes pins, for the same effect, But this is a much louder version, using the cap of the drink bottle, and the bottle as a amplifier.

I later learned (when I was 10), you could actually create a sound like a Harley, if you put two pieces of cardboard, long enough to reach the other side of the wheel, but on opposite sides, -|- - style, and rolled along..
