I know and have seen several SEVERAL people smoke marijuana AND I have inhaled the smoke. I'm not dead, and they're not dead. Marijuana is actually used medicinally, therefore it CANNOT and IS NOT completely lethal.

I admit, there have been instances where weed causes death, but never just because you smoked it.

My point isn't the legality, but rather that people have no problem promoting a much more dangerous substance, and allow their employees to indulge in it, but no other drug. Where I work, a lot of alcoholic employees did not even start drinking until they were forced to quit smoking pot in order to get the job.

And don't tell me marijuana isn't addictive when it has three times more nicotine that cigarettes do. It might not be as addictive as cigarettes still, but it is still addictive, and many people have fallen to it. But that's not the point. Like I said, employers wouldn't want a bunch of druggies moping around. They'd rather give it to the drug free student making his way into college.

My cousin, who is a nurse, was forced to do a study on it in college on use of marijuana as medicine. Him and his partners found it to be very addictive and harmful, and even interviewed a doctor who was an expert on it about it. He also stated it to be very addictive. It's like that joke that goes "I've been smoking marijuana every day for thirty years, and still haven't found it addictive".
