It is true that about 1200 Palestinians (of whom about 500 were fighters) were killed in the Israeli offensive in Gaza to stop the rockets being fired from there into Israel, All loss of life, Palestinian as well as Israeli is tragic, but this hardly qualifies as "gencide". For the record, more Palestinians have died at the hands of their Arab brethren than by Israelis.
