when mumia was arrested he posessed one gun. a 38-calibur pistol which he purchased because he had been robbed twice as a taxi driver. the bullets which were removed from faulkner belonged to a 44-calibur weapon. this was stated in a preliminary report. the examiner later changed his statements and claimed that the bullet was actually from a 38. somehow, a piece of the bullet was lost and now it cannot be identified. the absence of this critical tests validity imo creates resonable doubt.

The preliminary report was simply the morgue looking at the holes and saying that it came from either a .44 or a .38, the latter being Jamal's registered gun: found by his side on the scene (all 5 bullets discharged) and the empty holster on his hip. Now you're going to tell me that someone else ran up, took Mumia's gun, shot Danny Faulkner, then left - without being seen by anyone including Mumia?
