Where did you learn to do all of this? Did you learn this all on your own or read from a book or what? I'd like to do something like this someday and I'd be very interested to know where you aquired all of this wonderful knowledge.
best thing to cut the truss rode channel is a router most routers have a guid so it cuts the slot strait down the length of the neck.
so yer basically just try an get hold of a router if you can best not to cut it all in one go unless you'v got like an industrial monster router :D cut abit an then move the router depth down an cut abit more till it's deep inuf to fit the truss rod.
looks awesome!!, I should make one in wood shop at school, I do have experience with woodworking, I just neen to find somewhere that shows you how every step of the way.
