This is awesome, whoever posted this. Lotfi isn't low quality material at all, I know as a musician. Long live Lotfi and YouTube. Seriously, this is the type of gem that would have stayed in someone's basement for years if it wasn't for YouTube.
I am a musician and I can confirm that a player at the low quality of Mr.Lotfi would have basically had no chance to accompany Maestro Shajaryan, had he not been supported by Hooshang Ebtehaj! Lotfi needs to learn Tar before giving concert in Public! any way it was an injustice to Lotfi to let him play in place of a professional player where as he need a lot more to learn! he by all means a low class ordinary player!!
your problem and others who think like you is that you think Iranian music is like western music.Iranian music is not about technic it is more like telling story.and also don't u think Shajarian knows music better than you?!!!when he is companying Lotfi means that you are dead wrong.sorry mate.
