I think this is an amazing ad,very creative many bollywood actors like Aishwarya Rai are also donating their eyes I think when ppl see stars do it they want to do it too so I hope more ppl would donate their eyes.When you're gone,you don't need your eyes so why not help somebody who is need of sight. There are few questions I need to ask to the uploader of this video. I wear glasses with low negative power. Am I fit to donate my eyes ? How exactly this eye donation procedure works ?

@dsanjoy Yes you can.

Glasses are a way to refocus the light beam entering the iris (the hole), if your eye ball is irregularly shaped, then the light beam entering the eye falls on the not so sweet spot, where the light receptor rod & cone cells are concentrated. Consequently poor vision. The lens refocus the light, making it fall in the right spot, thus vision correction.

This has no impact on the quality of the "eye" (its cells, cornea, etc), and thus you can donate.
