God was telling his people what their enemies would rejoice in doing to them, he wasnt saying he would do it himself. Most of the so called "contradictions" people accuse the bible of making are simple mistakes in translation. Back then most words were used in different context than they are now. All I know is when I hear this video, I can feel the presence of the Lord in it. I don't know what anyone else feels, nor do I care. I don't know about Carrie's personal relationship with Christ. That is between her and Him. All I know, is that Carrie could have easily chosen to sing another secular song in this set, but instead chose to sing one f the greatest hymns of the faith. I applaud her for it.
I see no words of fighting, but only that of proper direction. No one condemned Carrie from my readings. Jesus gave mankind the right to pass a just judgement, to help guide others who became lost.

This girl is too much. My God she is giving me life with her anointed voice. Yes I said anointed. The country/gospel combination is beautiful and always has been. So peaceful. This is one of my favorite hymns. Beautiful Carrie.

I suspect Jackie may indeed have recorded this - wait and see.... Jackie recorded The Lord's Prayer. It's on her Dream With Me CD. Jackie's version of The Lords Prayer is exceptional. Jackie has a original song written by her uncle called To Believe. It's stunning.

Sad song--so many people have been deeply hurt because of the "loss" of loved one or someone who is close to them. God wants to ease the pain of loss by having us love Him too. That way, when we do lose someone there is always God who is always near, if we would just reach out to Him.

The whole purpose in life is to live our Lord's will. To do so, one must show that they care for others and help guide them on the right path. Many people cared about Michael Jackson but not his personal life until after he died. Then many say it was his own fault, but where were they when he cried for help. Too many were more interested in his talent than him as a human. Does Carrie sing good, yes. The conversations here are to help keep her on the right path, not to belittle her. Peace

All I know is when I hear this video, I can feel the presence of the Lord in it. I don't know what anyone else feels, nor do I care. I don't know about Carrie's personal relationship with Christ. That is between her and Him. All I know, is that Carrie could have easily chosen to sing another secular song in this set, but instead chose to sing one f the greatest hymns of the faith. I applaud her for it.
