A young Canadian musician drinks coffee, passes judgement on our society (the youtube generation - we live in a "mediocracy"), is pleased with his turn of phrase, sings a Canadian pop standard, and holds a staring contest with you.
This is a genuine, short and sweet and endearing stream of consciousness video straight from the heart that fuels my hope for the world.
i first saw you at the wpg folk fest im goina guess about...3 years ago or so? ive been a fan of yours since and looking forward to seeing you in wpg this november! woop woop
Awesome video. That cup made me post this comment. At the beginning - It's the look I do when I go to take a drink and the cup of tea is empty, and I proceed to put it down back on the table, and think of the next.
Looks like we spent our morning the same way today; with some coffee and a guitar (or Banjo). Interesting rendition; you made it work. Sounds really good. I've been playing christian music this morning. I'm not religious but I really enjoy playing that stuff on the guitar.
Hope to see you back in Waterloo soon. By the way, you won the staring contest.
