I have a old dell Latitude ppl laptop that i had put XP on but with only a 6GB HDD it ate the whole thing with windows update which made the laptop useless so im installing windows me on it . it use to have windows 98se the 98 setup is sooo easy some what like XP setup why is windows me setup make you type all this crap in to install it! wow i was lost how to install it this video helped me wonder why people hated ME lol pissed me off at the clean install!!

And just because you think that old operating systems are alright doesn't mean it's true does it? Fact is that most of the time they are slower than their new counterparts, less reliable and compatible with newer technology. I certinatly agree with you. I remember Windows ME when I used to go to my best friends house years back. Brings back wonderful memory's of when I was seven. He now has a new computer with XP Media Center, but still uses the old one with Windows ME for anything important that needs to be transferred from one computer to the other.

I don't agree that Windows ME is the "best" but it is the 2nd best! (Vista is the best, 7 WILL be better). Windows ME was fast and everything. My friend has a Windows XP Pro laptop, and a Windows ME desktop, that goes like 10x faster! It is super fast! Goes faster than any OS out there! I don't know why people don't like ME.
