  • I can't see what you did there =P

but your procedure its very polished and experienced!

    Cheers.

  • Should I make tutorials more focusseds on sculpts or meshes? mmmm --- Sent From KitsuneShanVideos's AppRats (Facebook App)!

  • @kitsune0video Yes, you completely should,

people are always anxious for learning =)

  • where do i get sculpt gen max? please its better then prim composer

  • @LSphotoshop sculpt gen max is part of prim composer. You can download prim composer in the first tutorial video, in description.

  • @kitsune0video but primcomposer is stupid it limits u down to only 3 building types do u have skype or something cause i really need someone that ues max please or second life if u can add me saito arnica

  • how come i cant do that using prim composer i swear :/ please make a tutorial on how u did it please :D

  • a bit too fast to get all the info in the video, could you make one about on how to make a 1prim chair just to get a general idea how to do things like a fence and what not?

  • @loui828 Well, sorry for the speed lol, but isnt a tutorial is just the making off. Im planning to make new tutorials, Ill do for both, sculpts and meshes so I will make a lot of changes in this channel. Ill make a poll and a sugestion request in the main channel page, so people can request and ask about tips and other stuff.

Thanks for watching and please subscribe, like and make comments. It make me want to do more and more videos ^- ^.

  • how do i preview the object im building? it keeps saying "Choose RenderMan Implementation - you must choose the specific RenderMan implementation to use with this render engine"

  • @happieroc For some reason you are using RenderMan as render and it have some errors. You should reinstall it to solve that or just use a different render. Go to render setup, in the coomon tab, scroll down and in assign render just select scanline (default render of max) or mental ray. If you get the same error then just reinstall your 3D max. Let me know if it works or you keeps getting some error. Anyway the render engine havent nothing to do with primcomposer.

  • @kitsune0video I tried reinstalling everything. I got this thing called yayframe. or soemthing. Pretty much i try to preview, say a cylinder thats been "MakeSDS" and it tells me i need to choose a render engine. Im very new so im sorry if i am missing something.

  • @happieroc lol what software are you using? Are you sure you are using 3D Max with PrimComposer? What do you meant with preview? Render the scene or just view it on viewport?

Go to the main channel here on YouTube ("KitsuneShanVideos") and watch the first ones were you can learn how to make a simple lemon and try to do it by yourself and let me know if you get the same error. Tell me too what version of 3D Max and PrimComposer are you using.

  • @maw88ify K3D is my own mark. Too bad that K-3D videos appear using my mark (but my mark is even older than K-3D :D).

PS: A true artist never consider itself an artist xP. And sorry, but spam is not allowed on my videos.

  • This is NOT "K3D" this is "3DS Max"... K-3D is a free program...

  • @maw88ify How do you get that conclussion? You are smart!! (^~ ^;)

  • Dear Kitsune, please please please please make a tutorial for this one. I am going to get 3D studio Max, and this was one of the best videos I have ever seen in my life, I like the part where you painted and you left shadows, this would help me very much..and im sure it would help others aswell.

  • What program is that?

  • @coolster179 The 3D modeling app is Autodesk 3D Studio Max 2009. The photo editing app is Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.

You can watch the others 2 mini tutorials about sculpts if you are interested in this channel (KitsuneShanVideos, teh same than this video). This channel is mine too but focussed in Second Life, thats why Im replying to you :D

  • great dude!

  • {Note} 1) Uses Paint Deformation!! (Yes, a better way than vertex dragging - almost like zBrush 3d painting - real sculpting) 2) uses polyboost cavity bake for ambient occlusion baking 3) render to texture bake.. corel for touchup and colouring. 4) render to texture towellike snow o.O

  • @inacentaur Yep, I used paint deformation in the higher mesh just to add more details. I would use Zbrush, but for that with 3D max was ok. Don't pay attention tot he poliboost render maps, I ust was testing lol. I take the "ambient occlusion map" just using skyligh and light tracer. I did 2 render to texture because bumps map isn't visible with just GI, so I did one for the smooth shadws and other with direct ligh for bump effect ( ^ __ < )⌒☆

  • Nice but too fast lol... cannt see wat u have done....

  • @jay1645able yes sorry but its supossed to be a speed up video instead of a tutorial :P. next time i make one longer (good that know youtube support 15 min videos :D)

  • @AnimateFox Nico Nico Douga Nanairo.

Its a song made by the team of the japanese video host Nico Nico Douga (like youtube japanese version). They make one each anniversary of the web using the most watched and famous videos ヾ(^∇^)

  • Awesome :) , great 3ds max skills for a 19 year old, Japan is way ahead of academics than the UK lol, i study games design and i still cant do half the things you do ;)

    well done :D
