Latest headlines state that interest in diamond gem mining and oil exploration are soon to follow. This would cause greater stress on the natural eco balance. Measures must be put into place now to protect these unexplored areas of the globe.

The cool thing is that it doesn't matter what you think; things will change. We don't still use leaded gasoline or asbestos. We don't miss them. Most people have a difficult time grasping evolution. er.. a glacier once ran through Yosemite in California, and having lived there once, I may be biased but there is the best example of global warming, although this island seems like a nice place too, Yosemite beat it out by about 30000 years , and yea too bad there were no regulations on the natives camp fires and their soot, but thats hey life....
