  • Awesome performance. Buck 65 is a great writer.

  • Yeah he's a pioneer for underground hip-hop.. talented in many ways from emcee to turntablist and so on. Nice guy too, really approachable dude, I met him in Toronto at the Sage/B Dolan show. Interesting fellow.

  • buck is a musical genius

  • my favorite rapper hands down!

  • that man has like the most badass voice in rap

  • @channelcy its hell true

  • bawitaba

  • @2322008

    no

  • Something familiar about that version of Dang..

  • ok can we then pleeeeease have this version also?? i mean is it possible to get gotten? :P (passive tense ;) )

  • passive voice* i think they call it...

  • lol! "get gotten" = "passive tense"?

  • Is Jian Ghomeshi really hot or is it just me? His voice is also soothing/sexy

  • hes not that sexy, but hes got a great voice...when hes not aware of it himself

  • it would kind of be delightful news, if they didn't like eachother. I loooove Buck 65, but I can't sit through a Q show. It's the only CBC show I don't like!

  • They almost sounds like they dont like eachother

  • They need to get Atmosphere on here or at least Slug. Buck 63 a badass though, respect.

  • I like this version more than the album version! Buck 65 sounds better in low-fi production it's more his style

  • Awesome version. It's great

  • Go Richie!

  • This version of 'Dang!' is well good.

It's great that every Buck song is one take.

Gives it a genuine feel, like the music that was made in the 30's like Robert Johnson and early Northern soul records when they'd record a song with a band in one take and that was their release.

  • Hi Frenchy

Did you not hear about Peter Gzowski?

Also if you had listened to Michael Enright since before he got too old you would have noticed he was a brash, opinionated rude punk most of his career.

  • Frenchy, your seriously spewing bitterness! I agree with you about the declining quality of CBC, Your not being fair to Jian, theres alot I like about him as a CBC personality. Hes just doing the job offered him, and working within the parameters

given him. At least he doesnt spend the whole show dropping names like Randy Bachman..... And Everybody is a better host than Ralph Ben murghy, Anybody remember him? What about DNTO? theres a piece of programming fluff that deserves your venom!

  • old much?

  • inspiring

  • Jian Ghomeshi is a great interviewer. He's knowledgeable without being a know-it-all, and attentive without being obsequious. His show is always worth catching.

Hail to the genius at CBC who hired Jian. And, no, I'm neither a Torontonian nor a yuppie.

  • @srollans jian ghomeshi is a pretentious ass

  • Jian Ghomeshi is such an awkward interviewer. Ugh! Great to see Mr. 6-5 regardless.

Who's the genius at the CBC who keeps greenlighting these shows with pretentious, trendy, Toronto-for-the-Yuppies Jian Ghomeshi?

  • Yes, I fully agree. The CBC seems to think that young and trendy is more important than intelligence.

By the way, I am a yuppie living in Toronto.
