What makes me even more sick is the lack of opportunity for minority actors in Hollywood. The fact that stereotypical roles have to be played by certain races in order to be recognized.
White is the majority right now at around 56% but all other minorities are experiencing the most growth. A lot of whites and other minorities are having children together too. Current demographic trends show the white population is on the decline.

Let people grow. I attended a new years watch service where the pastor used Tiger woods as example. He said twice in his career while he was on top, Tiger switched up his swing. Critics, friends, and oponets of Tigers thought he was crazy and would fail. Is that the best Sidney could do for an explanation?! Monique looked so proud while he spewed that nonsense. Oprah has a show that she does everyday and managed to appear at the toronto film festival one of the most well attended, media covered film festivals in the world. Sherri Shepard also there. If her brilliant business mgr Sidney thought it was financially worth her while, he would have ensured her attendance and care for their children. He is the father of these kids right?!

I can't believe some of the hatred in the comments below. Mo'nique has won an award that is well deserved and overdue. What makes me even more sick is the lack of opportunity for minority actors in Hollywood. The fact that stereotypical roles have to be played by certain races in order to be recognized.
